Repent- [re-pent] to turn away and go in the opposite direction
When Jesus initiated a call to repent in me, I was 8 years old. It took me 16 more years before I decided to totally give my life to him. To die as the person I was before, and be alive in the resurrection of Christ, where he lives through me, and my desire, my passion, my will, all align with God's purpose.
To live life this way, the bible tells us we experience the abundant life.
John 10:10
"The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
